'14 GA ATH Myles Autry

All purpose seems a better description. Utility is often used as someone who can not start, but can be used in a different places as a backup or part time player. Autry is much better than that and can start in a couple of places on offense and CB on defense. I just don't tjink utility does him justice.

Love Autry a lot...but might not start at RB or WR here. That also doesn't mean he won't log a ton of snaps, matter of fact he is too good not to get snaps. Which is exactly why he was labeled a utility player...exactly what every team needs.

Utility is more of a baseball term.

Funny how you bring that up cuz you can use that term anywhere. Big Braves fan here....Martin Prado was often mentioned a great utility player until there was a spot for him to start.

That is great to here, he would be another nice addition. He is one that can truly play either side at a high level.

How many slot type/apb would we take?

We have lee and wharton already. Got jenkins last year, and DY and pig both have a few more years

Also in with truitt. I know we wouldn't tell autry no, but seems like were in on a lot of wrs and already have a bunch of slots

DY and Pig aren't blowing anyone away at this point, Jenkins may see the field early and Truitt could be a CB.

IMO Pig is going to have a huge year. With the way the coaches are forcing the ball to him this spring, I think it speaks to their plan this fall. They are just getting him ready to be a bigger factor in the offense.

Go back and watch Cincy and CMU's passing scheme. You will see that he uses 2 slots on 4 wide and sometimes 3 on empty backfield formations. The first and second teamers will play a lot downs. So the answer is a minimum of 4. Anything over that amount might push them to be RS'd - which would be a good thing.
