"It was excellent," Truitt said. "I got a chance to chill with my family and the other recruits, too. Todd (Kelly Jr), Vic (Wharton), D'Andre (Payne), Jalen (Hurd), so it was pretty fun just being around those guys and getting to see the spring game and how the team is going to look and how far they've come so far."
"It was pretty good. I got a chance to figure out everything I was trying to study and I got a chance to talk to a couple of the coaches Not many because they had a coaching clinic," Truitt offered. "But, I got all the academic questions answered and that was pretty much it."
"You could say that they're the leaders," Truitt said. "From going on visits, every time I go it feels like home and it's not too far away from home. Not that distance is in issue but it's always good that family is close. Also, just the bond with coaches. It's different bonding with coach Jones as a head coach. Talking to a head coach a lot isn't always heard of but he definitely shows me a lot of love and he answers the phone every time I call so that's also something that stands out."
"I'm just trying to stick with those schools that I talk about and just do more research on those. Not that I'm ruling out any school and I'm still doing research on different schools and I'm thankful for every opportunity I have, but I'm just trying to narrow everything down to a top five or top 10," Truitt said. "I don't even have a timeline. We're just going with everything and just trying to figure out what's best for me."
