I'd much rather see Truitt on the defensive side of the ball myself. But maybe the circus act our secondary put on last year is causing me to overcompensate by making me want to put every good athlete we have in the secondary. In the 7v7 film Truitt looks very fluid and comfortable at the DB position. With that speed and those hands he could be lockdown. This 2014 class could bring back the Tennessee secondaries I was used to seeing growing up. Wade, Hefney, Allen, Grant etc.

I'm with you. I've wanted him at CB from the beginning. He has the potential to be a shut down corner with his hips, change of direction, and closing speed. Not to mention he's a strong guy who could be good in run support.

We all agree that he is special and would be a good player on either side of the ball, but admit it BB! As a db/db tutor yourself, you can't resist seeing an athlete this fluid and strong at cornerback. The skills and potential Truitt has at corner have you drooling.

I am fine with the kid on offense or defense. A lot of kids who are game changers on offense do not care to play defense if they have the choice. My reasoning to put him on offense was based on that. If he is willing to play defense, I'm all for it. If he will look toward schools who will let him play offense 1st, then offense it is IMO.

WVU is coming after him hard as a WR. Just throwing it out there. I am not convinced he is locked up. Hope I am wrong.

I see recovery speed which is very useful at CB. I'm tired of our CBs not being able to outrun mistakes. Guys like Truitt and Adoree Jackson can change that Day 1.

Primetime was an okay offensive player in HS. :) Kid needs to be on defense. He's even built like a good DB. All of his skills translate better to the CB position. IMO You can watch his burst and realize the level of CB he could become.

Wow that was a good number of impressive clips from just one camp! Some kids don't have highlight videos that long! Hah!

I want him at CB though. I can't stand getting killed through the air for long completions and TDs. It all started with 3rd and Chavis for me. AHH it just made me want to break the closest thing within reach!!!

Give me lockdown CBs all day please!! Truitt would be dirty back there in all the good ways! Ya Hurd me right!! And he's a must on KR and PR too!!

Prime time was decent in his day. Leon Sandcastle was the real deal. Head and shoulders above Primetime IMO.
