Amen brother.. If we get him, I hope to see him on defense and and returning punts..

God how I want to see us back to having a truly punishing defense, one that demoralizes opposing teams and literally causes them to lose hope... Haaaaa....

Pulling guys like Truitt = taking large steps in that direction..

“I know I can call any time and talk with Coach Jones,” Truitt told InsideTennessee.com. “Sometimes it feels like he is my recruiting coordinator. Sometimes I talk to him as much as I do Coach Thig or Coach (Azzanni). It is a great thing to talk to the head coach like that.”

“I have a pretty good relationship with the coaching staff at Tennessee,” he said. “I have been talking with them a lot since the spring game. Coach Thigpen is my main recruiter and everything is going pretty good with Tennessee. They are my No. 1 school right now.”

“The atmosphere and the coaches are amazing,” he said. “Every time I talk to coach Jones I am confident in what he is saying. Also when I visit, just being around the atmosphere and the place — it feels like home. That is a really good thing.”

“I just want to visit every school and see what they have to offer,” he said. “I want to see the opportunities that each school has to offer, not just in football, but also in academics. I just want to get a good feel for each school. I just want to feel comfortable.”

This one really stings. I love having early commits but you don't take someone else just because they'll commit on the spot when guys like Truitt are highly interested.
