Then, there are guys like Dez Bryant, Dwyane Bowe, AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Marques Colston, and Vincent Jackson who are all 6'2" or taller.

It looks like if you are Truitt's size, then you have a better chance at making better money as a CB. Doesn't mean that he can't, but the odds are better as a CB. JMO.

I made a point that CB's are not a sure bet to make more money than a WR in the NFL. Nothing was said about a players size as that was not part of the comment I responded to. The #8 pick in this last draft was a 5'9 170lb WR who was selected before any CB's were.

I doubt many kids with another year of HS to play is concerned with how much their paycheck will be at a given position 5 years from now IF they make it to the NFL. The kid prefers offense and that is where he wants to play. I say do what makes you happy.

I am not one to argue, and I can see how you didn't consider size. But the point is that size matters when it comes to making money in the NFL. You put out stats without looking at variables. I don't care what he wants to do in college. But, it is simply not true that players his size make more money as a WR- the stats were misleading. We will see how Tavon Austin does, but he is an expection, not the rule.

I would bet that the top 10 highest paid CB's are much closer to Truitt's size. In fact, Revis is about the same height. JMO.
