14' GA ATH Stanton Truitt

Really wanted this kid in the '14 Class. He looked like an incredibly dynamic athlete, hate he's not a Vol and he's staying in the SEC. Oh well, guess that's recruiting. Water under the bridge, especially given our current class.

Weird! It used to suck being the bridesmaid. But now, If you are not ready, this train will not wait for anybody. There are deadlines to reach, & we have a deadline to rise to the top & win a national championship. Chugga chugga, mutha!

Powell was clocked at 4.41 this summer. Te thing that I like about Powell is his reputation from camp circuits regarding crisp and explosive route running.

Powell looks more quick than actually fast to me but we'll see. They'll both in a spread attack. Will make for good discussion. :)

I agree it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I think that Truitt is the better CB prospect but as far as offensively, the staff was able to see Powell's route running first hand. Just in the 7 on 7 tape, it appeared that Truitt was less polished in the slot.

Does anyone know which 40 times you can believe? I assume UT has laser equipment when kids come to camp?

Best of luck to him as long as it's not the day we're not playing him. Will be very interested to see how his career plays out.
