'14 GA DE Dante Sawyer

Lol wut....?

They'll take the Thomas kid but not Sawyer. They only have like 12 or 13 verbals. What's the deal?

Just wondering... Because it's not like USCe is blowing the doors off right now.

Thought I read somewhere usce can only take 15-17 kids this year and stay under the 85.

Yeah, like Lebanon said, they are very tight with numbers. Sawyer knows where he stands with them. He is down their board but if they whiff on a couple then this might change.

Biggest miss for them is Chtistian Miller but they somehow got BAW.

Most think he has already maxed out and hit his ceiling. Good player tho.

I have a hard time believing the coach's couldn't get some improvement. More conditioning alone would bring some improvement. I also believe wherther we get Hendrix and Williams or not, there's always room for more depth... IMO Williams isn't a lock yet anyway, although Hendrix is probably a Vol. But if Williams comes we can always take all 3. With the decommitts there should be more than enough room. Although, I'm still unclear as to werther those are added to this years, or next... I've heard people on hear say its next year they get added. But, I was watching the "Locker Room" the other night and they mentioned it, and it sounded like they were implying that it added to this years... Maybe someone could clear that up for me.

I'd take all 3 though.

Probation limit?

Yes. They also only have four seniors on the team, and has the youngest team in the country from what is being said. They turned down Chris Lammons before he committed to UF. They need another de though. However, both Sawyer and Wideman(who they would like to flip) have academic questions. Williams has them in his his top 6, but he needs to visit first.

Was "very impressed" and enjoyed his trip. Thought the atmosphere was "crazy."

“This was a big time statement win for (Tennessee) coach (Butch) Jones and the program,” said Sawyer, ranked the No. 27 defensive end in the nation. "This might set a standard of how I feel about coming to Tennessee.”

About to start taking his officials. Loved our fan base and the love we showed. Talked with Strip and Coach G after the game. Says all of are coaches are "really fun to be around" and will keep talking to UT.
