I hope Alabama doesn't land him and Norris. I think Norris is a lock for Alabama. Those two together would NEVER see a zone.

Yea I don't think he'll decide anytime soon. Indiana just came calling, I'm guessing he's gonna holdout and see if they or any other big time programs like that show interest.

Agreed. This is college recruiting, so "lock" has no place in the conversation really.

I will change that to Alabama being in really good shape to land him.

He's receiving lots of interest now from high major programs, I'm guessing he's pretty open at this point...

I would love for Devin Mitchell to be our point guard signee. He is awesome player we'd just be getting better and better if he committed.

on sunday evening, mitchell received a phone call from tennessee head coach cuonzo martin. That particular call was one that he had been waiting on and martin did not disappoint as he offered mitchell a scholarship.
“that was a big one,” mitchell said. “we had a regular conversation like we always do. He just told me that every time he had come to see me play i had gotten better and that goes to show you what hard work does. I have been big on tennessee and that was one of the school i really wanted an offer from.”
mitchell has been to the knoxville campus before and spoke about the aspects that stand out to him.
“i have been up there for an elite camp,” he said. “the size of the arena, the whole city is just all about tennessee, their fan support is incredible and they are the main attraction there.”

Seems like there should be more talk about this kid. His comments seem really positive.

He's friends with AJ Davis, Armani Moore and Phil Cofer. Mitchell and Davis used to work out together on a daily basis and still talk almost daily.

Would be a really nice get. Great weapon to have, but technically wouldnt Mitchell take Cornish's minutes? Between the 2, Mitchell seems like he would have the most upside. Then again, no video on Cornish either.

Mitchell can play the 1 or 2, Cornish can play the 2 or 3.

If we don't land Lyle, Mitchell is our next best option at PG IMO.

Good call. Probably gonna irk some people with this comment, but I would still like to get a "true" pg in here.(distributor and defender)((Lyle would be awesome cause he can score too)) No knock against Mitchell, like I said I think he is a nice player. Watchin his video, seems like McRae this year before we landed Barton. He can do it, but is it really how you want to utilize him?
