I don't think he's leaning to Bama, but that's jmo. He visited bans sure, but in the last couple weeks he's also visited KSU, Georgia, UAB, Ga Tech and a couple others I believe and is scheduled to visit a few more. One of his best friends is being recruited by KSU for football and they'd like to go to school together fwiw.

At this point I feel like he's pretty open.

Preciate it. Are we gonna get a visit you think?

Is there somewhere to find scheduled visits/visitors for teams?

I would think we'd get a visit, iirc he came last year some time, maybe for camp.

As for visits, twitter is honestly probably your best bet.

On Sunday evening, Mitchell received a phone call from Tennessee head coach Cuonzo Martin. That particular call was one that he had been waiting on and Martin did not disappoint as he offered Mitchell a scholarship.

“That was a big one,” Mitchell said. “We had a regular conversation like we always do. He just told me that every time he had come to see me play I had gotten better and that goes to show you what hard work does. I have been big on Tennessee and that was one of the school I really wanted an offer from.”

Mitchell has been to the Knoxville campus before and spoke about the aspects that stand out to him.

“I have been up there for an elite camp,” he said. “The size of the arena, the whole city is just all about Tennessee, their fan support is incredible and they are the main attraction there.”

I keep thinking back to this article from about two months ago. Seems like he really liked UT.

Is UT recruiting Mitchell as a SG or PG? Just about every service refers to him as a SG and his strength is three-point shooting.

I think PG.

His video looks like he could play either. A couple of the scouting reports say he is an good on ball defender. Nice weapon to have for a pg. Hopefully that is the position he wants to play in college.

Reel him in Coach

At 6'3-6'4 could be another combo but he's a lights out shooter so that's always good. I think he would be a very good replacement. His stoke keeps ascending.

Smooth lookin player. I hope we get him. Also hope we didnt ruin our chances with Richmond. I liked his game a lot.

Both guys look better than their 3 star rating. IMO

I believe he stays in the SEC no one knows where? Tennessee, Alabama, or Georgia. We can spend a lot of time with him now has to be our number one target at that position.

The fact he hasn't visited this summer is a bit odd to me. He seemed to really be happy about the Tennessee offer, and genuinely interested in Tennessee. However, since that offer he's unofficialy visited about 10 schools and none have been Tennessee. Now I don't know, maybe he has plans to visit soon, but that's just kind of stuck out to me a bit.

I would like to think he is just taking free trips and is a silent commit and will visit and commit close to signing day. I know that probably isn't close to being true. I love his game great shooter would really improve our chance for a good season in 2014.

Unfortunately they're not free trips. He's taking unofficial visits which means every part of that trip is his own dime.

He has offers from all those schools he's visited, what're you talking about?[/QUOTE

I can believe that even though most of the services show him with 7 or 8 offers. I can also believe he is not paying for all these trips even though he is taking them.

How many does rivals show him with?

Devin Mitchell - Yahoo! Sports

Mitchell has over 20 offers so not sure where you're coming up with this...

So what is it you're trying to say, his trips are being illegally funded and that no matter what school he chooses its likely he will be ruled ineligible due to receiving impermissible benefits?
