“Things with Tennessee are good right now,” McDowell told InsideTennessee.com. “I think they are one of the schools recruiting me the hardest right now and I am just trying to get to know everyone better there.”

”I want to talk to all the coaches again and get to know them better,” he said. “I want to see everything that I haven’t seen yet too. I want to see the academic side of things and the buildings where players spend time and things like that.”

“I have three recruiters at Tennessee right now,” McDowell said. “I talk to Coach (John) Jancek, Coach (Willie) Martinez and Coach (Tommy) Thigpen. We have a good relationship. They are really good guys at Tennessee. They are just trying to build UT back to a championship level.”

“Their graduation rate was really impressive,” he said. “They graduate a lot of their players and that is important to me.”
