"He called Butch Jones in the last hour and committed. Tennessee beat out alot of programs for him. He's been added to the commitment list and we are working to get him more in depth for a story.

He was set to be a Vol in April and then backed off to see some other schools, but obviously after his most recent trip up here decided he was a Vol.

Tennessee will have to continue to recruit him because other programs like Georgia will not stop."

I'm partially glad that he waited because recruiting services continually bump down guys who have committed early.. (J.Hurd, TK, Vic etc..

Cortez is huge get because of his versatility to play both safety spots and with 10ish pounds of added weight he can play inside the box.

Berry twins need to stop this waiting game. All I'm gonna say.
