McDowell and Deon are not really the same type players. Deon was more pass defense and not a bit hitter. Cortez will rock your world. I agree - we need guys like him to rack up a few RB's and WR's to send a message.

Football is getting to the point where DB's cannot even hit a WR without getting suspended. Its turning into flag football. We will never see great hits by guys like Lott, Atwater or Cecil ever again.

Looks like he has already grown and bulked up a lot since his Junior year. No troll, but I tend to think he will get moved to linebacker at some point. Looks a tad slower.

He will be a good player for this defense wherever he ends up!

You are right, he does look to be a little speed deficient. But he does look Faster Than Todd Kelly. Maybe Kelly could play some Backer.
