Lambert gave us and coach Jones his word that he's going to be a vol. He reaffirmed it multiple times in the last 4 days. Maybe my Jimmies are Rustled, but I can't stand the constant lying and manipulation that goes on . It's not only recruiting, but we have a president who lives on lying and nobody cares.

You people getting really upset at the possibility of Lambert entertaining other teams need to reevaluate your isht.

As of right now, he is a Vol commit. Leave him be... if he was or is 50/50 you negative nancies have made up his mind for him.

If a recruit makes his mind up on where to play college football based on what people post on a message board he needs to "reevaluate his isht", as you so succinctly put it.

Kids dont usually put that at the forefront of their decision making. If so UTthat this year, UK this yr, Ole Miss and AU last year the list is endless. Its more about Coach's, relationships and the winning will come.

I actually don't like most of those people. I just think it points to a bigger problem in society. The bigger problem makes me cranky. Davonte is just a product of the **** he's been around like most of us.

Did I miss somewhere that he has already flipped to Auburn? Maybe he is not lying… Have you ever thought that in 48 hours he still signs with the Vols? If he does, then he kept his word to Butch. If Dooley were our coach, then I would be worried. Butch Jones is our coach. Some of you guys have such a short memory. Do you not remember the quotes from Fortenberry and Hubbs that Malone was going to be a Clemson tiger about a week before his announcement, and Butch Jones came in with the Calvary five days before his announcement, and showed him that his best decision was to choose the Vols?

Lambert may have gone silent, but I believe the most important thing that occurred was Butch had the last visit before the dead period. I believe that, just as he convinced him before he committed, Butch showed him once again why he chose the Vols in the first place. Lambert hopefully just wants to have another moment.
