If Lambert signs with UT on Wednesday I sure hope some of you learn from this and freak out just a bit less the next time a similar situation comes up.

So you are the morality police now? You have righteous indignation about someone lying....that beats all. When he signs with UT, you should send him a handwritten note apologizing to him for calling him a liar.

You're smarter than this, right? If the kid doesn't want to be here I suspect he will inform the coaches. If that is the case, move on if he doesn't want to be here. Contrary to many opinions this kid will not make or break our class. Would he be a nice get? Sure, but let's face it, our team rides on our offense clicking next year. Our defense may lose a game or two, but our offense will be the difference between 5 or 6 wins and 7 or 8. If we can't see by now that this staff is great at recruiting and realize if this guy leaves they will get someone else, we are still jaded by the last five years. It's a new day in recruiting for us. I was quoting what this staff says all the time, so yeah, I guess it makes sense for them.

I will if it gets to him. I have no problem admitting my mistake. It's being a man.

Believe what you want, but at the end of the day. That young man has to do what is best for him. You will not feed him nor his family. You will not put clothes on his back. You will not even pay his bills, and chances are you would not even invite him into your home. HOWEVER, AUBURN WILL DO THESE THINGS.

I love UT just as much as the next person, but I am not going to crucify a young man because he decides to go elsewhere.

This is crazy! A couple of weeks ago when I said this guy was Auburn bound I was called stupid and a troll Lol! Now it's a real possibility and you guys are freaking out. I'm over it and have came to grips that he is War Eagle just glad we don't have to play them.

I trust Mike Farrels opinion of Lambert staying with the Vols. I think we all just need to calm down and just wait for Wednesday to get here. If you remember, Carl Lawson did something similar to this. Committed to Auburn but took an official here. Had a signing ceremony and stuck with Auburn. I think Lambert is a Vol.

Calling a young man a liar is wrong just because he doesn't want you in his business. He is a college age kid, not a politician.

I haven't called him a liar. Only saying he is if reports are true.


The only thing that matters to me is what he is telling our coaches.

Reports are he flipped to auburn 2 weeks ago and their coaches told him to keep it quiet.

Reports are our coaches still think he is signing with us.


If both reports are correct he is a kid lacking of character and a flat out liar

My heart tells me he sticks. My brain tells me he flips. If he does flip, well within his right to do so, h wouldn't have handled it the best way. If he's flipped he should tell Butch and company so they can move on and try to get in on another JUCO EE in the next few days (I realize that's difficult). That's why I think he sticks. He seems like a guy with enough character to tell Butch and not leave him at the alter the last min. JMO
