FWIW as well, the last day to add/drop classes for the 2nd session is Monday, so that coincides with what he said.

I'd have to think it would be very soon. I can't see a scenario where they would use a scholarship from 2015 on a kid who has 1 year to play. If he is not a Vol in the next month, IMO he will not be. JMO

If he's not enrolled by the start of Fall Camp... Which I think is August 1st.... You cut ties with the kid.

In my honest opinion, UT owes this kid nothing. We believed in him when nobody else did. We offered and he committed. He told us he would be an EE. Never happened. And now according to Hubbs, it may be close to August before we hear anything on Chris. I want the kid to make it. We absolutely need him. He knew what had to be done from the get go. And it's completely on him if he doesn't make it.

And knowing how Butch handles stuff, he would probably help and guide Chris to West Virginia or some place with lower academic standards.

TCV, I don't know if he gets in our not but today is not the first day of the second session. Check the academic calendar. I'm thinking its Monday.

Personally, I have no idea when it starts. A poster on VQ started a thread claiming today was the first day of second session. LWS posted in that thread several times and didn't refute his claim so I figured it was true.

What school starts 2nd Summer session on a Thursday much less the day before a July 4th weekend? Common sense man. School starts Monday and Big Charles says he's ready to go on Monday. Save you're self induced panic for Monday and hopefully you won't have to use it.

Are you sure this isn't enrollment day? If today was truly the first day of class, DOA needs to be fired. The 4th is a holiday and no classes for sure.

FWIW I just talked to a lady that works at UT and she said today (Thursday) is the first day of the 2nd summer session BUT most classes were cancelled today because the professors didn't want to hold class one day before a 3 day weekend (for their and the students benefit). She also said that students had until the 7th (Monday) to enroll for this session. Where she works at, she would have to know this information.
