Does he have 3 to play 2? If so, I think a redshirt year would be highly beneficial considering when he is arriving.

Considering the way CBJ has elevated UT recruiting, do you think they would allow CW to red shirt? May not want to be committed to him more than 2 years?

To me that quote means that Weathered has finished up his class work and has passed the necessary courses. The last hurdle for him, that I heard recently, was getting the NCAA clearance. So they are just waiting for that and if he gets it before August he will be with the team then.

Weatherd has completed his work at his JUCO. There is no NCA Clearinghouse for JUCOs. It is the UT Admin. that has to decided on whether he qualifies or not to gain entry into UT. It is all up to Dave Hart to press Jimmy Cheek.

I think it depends on his final GPA according to LWS and that will depend on which classes that will transfer. Basket Weaving 101 will probably not transfer.

no way Jancek goes out on a limb and says that if he doesn't truly believe he will make it. the media poopstorm would be unbearable for him if he is wrong.
