I'm happy for him. I doubt he will make a instant impact unless he's a special player.

Isn't that what JUCO's are supposed to be? Otherwise what's the point of taking them if they are only going to be here 2 years and it takes one or more to get them ready to play?

He's just rolling off the bus as the team goes to fall camp. If he's not in playing shape like Blair wasnt, he's way behind the 8 ball.

I gotcha. Well hopefully he has been doing something on his own so he can get into the swing of things quickly. I''m sure they will have some extra homework for him to help him catch up.

It's going to be tough for him to catch up so quickly. If he was an EE he'd be starting opposite of JRM.

The other day ainge said that he doesn't think he plays this year and then said he hopes he doesn't... How does he not play? everybody in the sec wanted the guy to play for them and we arnt going to put him on the field? Ainge can be really stupid sometimes.......

If I remember correctly, Weatherd still has a redshirt year left. If Butch was willing to redshirt marcus jackson soley for the benefit of the future, it's possible he's willing to redshirt weatherd. If he's not in top shape in August, there's no real reason to play him. Especially considering A.J. and Curt (although he may end up at DE full time) could both be gone after this season
