He has the GPA now. It is just a matter of everything getting accepted by admissions. Evidently (per Hubbs) he has a very complex transcript.

It sounds like he will be a Vol unless something unexpected happens.

Great. Thanks Madkins. I guess it's just a matter of figuring out what classes will count towards his degree.

or

What degree he should pursue to get the most transferred credits. If I remember correctly that will come down to the Dean and Department head.

You are correct. A certain %age of classes taken have to be applicable towards the degree, and in cases of transfer students, Deans and Department Heads determine if they will accept courses as substitutions if they don't directly line up with the program of study. Sometimes you really have to get creative to keep athletes eligible.

I went through that when I transferred and lost a few credits that I thought would be fine.

Probably the biggest unsung hero of present day UT Fooball.

You had better watch out giving Hart compliments on here. There are those around here that think he is an idiot for hiring Butch and Donnie T.

Going to help out tremendously if he has stayed in good shape. Maybe Lawson got him a workout plan to get him in shape for SEC play.

@InsiderUT: It looks like 2014 OLB commit Chris Weatherd (@ChrisWeatherd12) will be able to play this year for the Vols. Immediate impact player!

Yeah this was on twitter earlier today. Was wondering if we would get some kind of confirmation or not.
