It doesn't matter if it's for fun or not. Visits are normal. These kids need to have back-up plans. But, what has Weatherd done to make anyone believe he won't be a Vol? If there were any serious indications, VQ and 247 would most likely be all over it.

Lol man tell me where I said he made me think he wouldn't be a vol? I've said before that I think he'll stick with us.
Since when does, "what has Weatherd done to make anyone believe he won't be a Vol," refer to you specifcally?
I'm speaking in general, as I know how every little nugget of information on this site snowballs in the blink of an eye.
You don't take visits for fun. You take visits because there is some interest there. It may come out to be nothing though.
Not all junior-college prospects are automatically early enrollees. The early junior-college signing period that begins Dec. 18 is only for players who are planning to be early enrollees. Weatherd once hoped to enroll at UT in January, but it became clear a few months ago that he wasn't going to be able to graduate from his junior college in December, so he will be signing in February and enrolling next summer. That's why Auburn and Texas A&M still are pushing to get an official visit from Weatherd in January.
