Garden City (Kan.) Community College offensive tackle Dontavius Blair already held offers from some of the nation's elite programs.
Dontavius Blair received an Auburn offer on Saturday.
But Blair, a four-star prospect, continued to wait patiently for an Auburn offer.
Blair and the Tigers' coaching staff had spoken periodically over the last three months. On Saturday, Blair finally received an offer from Auburn after speaking with Tigers' offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.
"I knew it was coming, but I didn't know when. They told me they wanted to offer me so I'm excited," Blair told AuburnSports.com.
"I feel like God is working -- everything I've wanted has come along. It's an offer I've dreamed about."
Auburn now joins Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, Tennessee and more that have offered the 6-foot-8, 300-pound Blair.
"I don't have a leader," Blair said. "I haven't taken any official visits, Auburn will be my first. But I'll take some visits this fall and then we'll see."
Blair is tentatively scheduled to officially visit Auburn on July 20. He's already visited Tennessee this year.
"I've never been to Auburn," said Blair. "It's a great program, it's Auburn. I'll go down there and see what it's like. I'll check out playing time and all that stuff."
Blair attended Anniston High School (Ala.) before heading to Garden City to continue his football career. Blair played left tackle last fall, blocking for new Tigers' quarterback Nick Marshall.
Blair plans to graduate in December and enroll at the college of his choosing in January.
Blair doesn't plan a decision until November.
