I don't want to jump the gun. We don't have all the details yet. However, if he is gone, I won't be that disappointed. I know a lot if people are really high on him but I don't see it hurting us at all really. We return all of our WR next year and bring in arguably the top WR haul with or without Jackson. Just another spot for a lineman

If that were the case, you would think that Fortenberry would have disclosed that information. He obviously looked into his situation at Blinn.

If he's not playing this year (for whatever reason), and he's not redshirting, I highly doubt he's in this class.

With Hubbs reporting this morning that we can only take 30, stated definitively, I have no quarrels with taking another OL, DL, or DB.

A year ago, I would have agreed with you. Now ... not so much. Several recent recruits have admitted they were silent commits for several weeks before they went public. It's not the tooth fairy or Santa Claus. It's real.

I still think this is a bigger loss than some here do. Not the less, the extra spot doesn't hurt when we do indeed have a great WR haul already and have needs in other areas. Still really wanted to see this guy in Orange. Just like Cam Patrick it seems.

This guy is not a week 1 starter and is not close. He is not playiing football for a long period of time. You cant base everything on freshman year at OU.

i wish him nothing but the best and believe he has ability, but not sticking with teams is a bad downfall and something that hurts him big time.

Also not playing or practicing this year hurts.

This guy is better than most think and could be one of the best he seems to have that attitude about him and we need done attitude.... A wr that will hit u in the mouth go catch a pass dare u to stop him and then do it again!! We have way to much niceness on the team we need some edgeeniss and coach jones knows it and can control it unlike the last 2 I wish we had Darrick back with coach jones
