'14 JUCO TX WR Kameel Jackson (UT walk-on)

Welp, this wraps up what we all saw coming for a while. On to the next one. Numbers do indeed seem to be working themselves out.

Wish the kid good luck and this will open up a spot for another recruit. I think we may see one or two more before its all said and done.

Blessing in disguise. I don't intend to sound harsh, but this spot can be used for a position of a greater need, and a player that'll work his butt off to earn it.

For all the talk about us only taking WR's, we're down to two if you don't count Vic. Honestly, I think this opens up the door a little more for Vic at the WR position.

Yeah I think Vic definitely ends up at WR now. I was on the fence about it but I really like him in the slot. Lot of people writing him off when they shouldn't be IMO.

It has been said multiple times that Vic will be in the slot. There was a bunch of talk about Creamer playing on D, but he stated in a few articles that he will be playing WR and seemed a little frustrated that people kept predicting him on D. Then we have 1 JUCO WR and Booth (who can play inside or outside). Vic is way better on offense than he is on defense.

Is the consensus that Creamer ends up at WR? I was thinking the D side of the ball for sure.

No one really knows for sure. Creamer has said he's wanting to play WR, Hubbs and Fortenberry have said he might end up at LB or DE. I think Creamer is the kind of athlete that once he's on campus the coaches will put him where he fits best, which could be on O or D.

I guess I've always just counted him a victim of the WR numbers and being a "tweener" type of guy. Talented, but where does he fit best? I've long wondered if he would be a TE/DE type of guy.

Same here. I think he ends up at DE or TE.

We really dont have WR numbers. We have 4 guys right now that can be depended on. Josh Smith cant and catch anything, so far Harris and Bowles havent shown anything so the Coach's are bringing in 4 they think can play, plus Ryan Jenkins should be a good one once he gets healthy for next season.

I think I would like some of what you guys are smoking!!!

I got to see Creamer this year play and I am telling you right now he will play WR. He is very athletic and physical playing at WR. Reminds me of a 5 star we had that got booted off the team last year!!!!

I think Creamer will be one of those sort of hybrid WR/TE types that are starting to blow up now. Massive redzone target.

He's nowhere near as athletic as Da'rick was.

Sucks but replacing him with 3-4 years of Malone will surely make up for losing him!

Smith, Harris and Bowles are still so young. Seems too early to be trying to predict what they can and can't do.

That being said, I would really like to see Bowles moved to defense to get him in the game. I feel like he's an athlete and he'll contribute at some point in the next 2 years.

Smith will be fine. He'll get better with age. He already works hard and coaches love him. As he gains confidence his drops will decrease.

I also think Paul Harris has a chance to be pretty special. He's just a true freshman. North is a freak. Most players freshman years look a lot more like Harris's. I wouldn't sleep on him just yet. He's built to dominate.
