'14 MD LB Jerome Dews (UT Commit 6/24)

Sadly I couldn't make it to the game. I would have loved to see Dews in action.

If your in town this weekend, he will be playing in the PG vs SMAC All Star game this Sat at North Point HS in Waldorf @2pm, if they cancel because of the weather it will be this Sun same place same time

Nice! Waldorf is only about a 30 minute drive for me. I might be able to check it out.

Dews needs to read closer. The only criticism that I have seen today in this thread has been about his competition. I haven't seen one poster say anything bad about him directly as he says in his tweet

Most here have been very positive about the kid. We love his productivity and potential. In fact I argued very strongly that he shouldn't grey shirt. I am still very hopeful he is on campus come summer.

He got upset by a poster saying his competition looked like a JV team. I understand him not liking that post but it wast critical of him individually

Listen mane, we support you. Most people who criticize are either young or fans of other teams acting like ut fans. You shouldn't listen to people who say stuff good or bad because it all comes down to you. Look at Bama's kicker. His fans wanted him dead and told him via social media. If you want to play with big boys, then put on your hard hat because the SEC is for men. We are the college NFL and not the ACC.

That's just the way it goes, nobody wants to read negative comments about themselves. But I agree I'm glad to have this guy. The coaches offered him after seeing him do drills and play with their own eyes. Tells me all I need to know.
