#14 Missouri vs #22 Florida

Hey LW, your thoughts on what happens with UF after season? Muschamp can coach D...but man that offense. Do you change OC again ? Very tough to see Pease and/or Muschamp making it past 2014 w/o vast improvement IMO.

My views on Muschamp are well documented.

Given losses to South Carolina, Georgia and FSU, I expect Pease to be gone.

Once it's a given Pease wasn't the problem, I expect Muschamp to be gone after the 2014 season.

You even conceded a loss to Mizzou in another thread. They're leading the East...what's not to talk up?

Again, you seem to gloss over my point that UF's coaching staff is underperforming. Are you okay?

Also, Fowler is a sophomore, and yes, hes been a beast. I'm not sure what Fowler has to do with Powell not playing today. Powell is an NFL talent, and given your love for recruiting, he was the #1 recruit coming out of HS in 2009.

To suggest there should be no drop off in performance without Powell or Easley, regardless of competition, is nonsense.

I never said Tn was better than mizzou. We are implementing new systems on both sides. We also don't have top five ranked classes the last 10 years. If you can't see what fowler has to do with Powell after discussing floridas lack of an excuse due to very high quality backups then you're a product of the fla public school system.

Losing Matt jones and replacing him with an all time leading rusher in fla high school football ... Laughable to complain about that. Bashing your own player Michael Taylor and saying he's not that good is just being a sh;tty fan.

Dude, seriously?

Why do you continue to bring up Dante Fowler? Dante Fowler and Ronald Powell are both starters. Fowler did not replace Powell yesterday.

I did not bash Michael Taylor. I disagreed with your opinion that Michael Taylor "is better than any player Mizzou had". Those were your words, and I disagreed.

While you're at it, go back and read my posts about Kelvin Taylor. Kid should get 15 carries a game at a minimum...that's my complaint.

It's like you want to argue for the sake of arguing.

You're the butthurt loser today, not me. Powell had 11 tackles in six games so you consider that a great loss? He just like our 5 star looks like Tarzan plays like jane, Jacques smith. I said Taylor was as good as any Missouri lb and that comment was reiterating that point. I stated it was coaching from the beginning due to your vast talent edge. You cried about Rb, qb, and Dl. Jones was out but you still had Mack and 5 star Taylor. Tn did you a favor by getting Murphy in over driskel. Florida fans complaining about lack of players on the Dl is just stupid. Very stupid on a Tn board. Try losing couch and saulsbury , two not so great players as far as production, and replacing them with the likes of Clark and Carson. Nobody wants to hear your crybaby excuse making top 5 talent having bs around here.

Exactly. Our DL backups are 2 star warm bodies, they can plug and play multiple 4 star guys. Losing Easley is no excuse for losing. They've recruited the talent to compete in the east with some injuries. Muschamp just isn't good. Injuries shouldn't play a part. Also Murphy is definitely an upgrade over Driskel.

They also out gained Miami like 500 yds to 200-250 range and still lost. Fla defense was avg giving up 13 pts a game and allowed 36 to mizzou. Inexcusable IMO.

Also to the inaccurate point minimizing Michael Taylor's talent by calling him a 3 star

They're also 99th in penalty yards per game. No reason they couldn't have won a lot of games in the SEC even with the injuries if they were better coached.

A ton of missed tackles yesterday. About as bad as I can ever remember. And the o-line was atrocious. We got some serious problems.

I know injuries are beating you guys up, but is it lack of depth? Talent? Coaching?

I keep up with the Florida scores which is about it. What are the Florida sports talking heads saying?

I don't listen to the talking heads. There could be something going on internally, I wouldn't know.

My personal impression is that the defensive injuries are really hurting us, but I am surprised at the fall off. I feel like Murphy's production has regressed. Overcoached?

We might be better off simplifying things. The O-line is just pathetic right now.

I am still comfortably in the pro-Muschamp column, but if the rest of the season is like yesterday, my faith will be tested.

Yesterday, while discussing the Fla/Mizzou game, ESPN's Reece Davis called the Gators offense "hot garbage". He said this is the reason they are losing these games. I've got to agree with him. They've got major problems on offense.

:hi:

Did you notice Damien Jacobs didn't play today? He was injured too.

Michael Taylor was a 3* recruit, and was thought to be a reach by many so-called experts.

Agree with you on Kelvin Taylor...I wondered why Kelvin hasn't played more so far this season.

Michael Taylor was a 4 star and mvp of the under armour game.

Yes you did. There were many here claiming Ut beats UF if Hunter doesn't blow out his knee...and I've admitted on at least two occasions UF's coaching is questionable.

It's not like UT has been able to take advantage of our leadership shortcomings, and given our ginormous talent disparity, do you really want Muschamp gone?

I'm not sure what you're arguing at this point.

For as bad as Muschamp has seemed to be in areas, we gave that advantage back 10 fold with Dooley.

I agree, Muschamp is in trouble. UGA has become a big game that really means nothing except to the schools and individual HCs. He may survive this year but the seat will be scorching to start next year.

The current implosion must be difficult considering the quality recruits your program gets year after year. Also, the east was all yours with a victory over mizz and uga hurting... and us beating the game clocks. Unfortunately for yall, fsu looks like it will own your state like it used too.

I don't think one season tells that story.

And FSU still has to come to Gainesville this year .... The week before the "ack" championship.
