I want this guy to be a vol. 1 becuase he will be a great RB for us with Hurd. 2. because I don't want to have to defend him at USCjr.

They should tell him CSS is 70 and retiring soon!

Or just tell him that every Gamecock football player ends up pumping gas for a living.

"UPDATE Dec. 8 - It's looking more and more like a two team race for Scott and Tennessee has made up a lot of ground on South Carolina the last several weeks. But, there is still plenty of time left in Scott's recruitment, but this one seems like a tight race moving forward."

"Scott is a threat to go the distance every time he touches the ball. His quick feet and great vision make him a nightmare for defenders in the open field. Scott runs well inside the tackles and on the perimeter. He shows great balance and is an instinctive runner. Scott also catches the ball well out of the backfield. Overall, he is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the country." - Michael Clark (Scout)

Sounds like a young Shady McCoy. Close to the same size coming out of HS as well.

not Ron, but heres my take

i think Williams' skill set is closer to Hurd's than Scott's is. if we got Williams, they could sub Hurd and Williams out without having to change playcalling style.

i would take either though... first to commit

I think it will be whoever commits first. Both have had very good senior years and are highly rated so either would be great. I think we're in better position for Williams at the moment but we still have 8 weeks until NSD, anything can happen. How about both?

I agree with all of this. I mean both guys are very good. It seems Williams might be a little quicker but Scott may be more powerful. I would be happy with either of them.

I am kind if worried about LSU and Williams I mean didn't one of their RBs decommit? Anyway, I would be happy with either one. I don't know if we have oom or both do we? I mean wouldn't we want another big ugly instead of 2 RBs? Just curious.

I say we will make room for both and gray shirt Paulk

I think Paulk already GSs (how awkward to write). With 33 commits right now, subtracting Dews and Paulk gives 31, and we probably aren't taking any more than 35. We're gonna need those last 4 spots for Mosley, Adoree, a HS/JUCO DL, and one of these RBs.

I really hope we can land this kid, he is an explosive game changer. Our offense fits his running style better than USCjr. In a perfect world we would take both he and Williams. However if just one I say Scott. Cause we already have a physical RB in Hurd.

I think Williams ends up at LSU now. Hopefully we land Scott

south carolina has been widely viewed as the team to beat for scott over the past several months, but tennessee recently has emerged as a strong contender and now appears to be the biggest threat to the gamecocks. N.c. State also is in the picture, but he only has taken official visits to south carolina and tennessee to this point, and it’s shaping up to be a tight race between the vols and gamecocks.

Does Kendal Vickers have any influence here? I know many guys make their own decision, but this can't hurt, especially if they have a friendship.

I like Scott and Williams much more than the other guys at RB. They are real playmakers and Scott is very much in the mold of Shady my man.

This is the RB I've wanted all along. I love his vision and quickness. Perfect for this type of offense. I definitely like Williams as well but Scott has been my #1 guy for that last RB position all along. He's a great compliment and change of pace type to Hurd.
