Rivals says he is a 4.55 guy.. Slow for his size.. maybe a bad day? That pace of back can be successful in the Sec but not at this Size...

That's not slow. Kendal Wright (the WR for the titans) ran a 4.6 something at the combine. Being able to run 40 yards without pads fast doesn't necessarily mean you're fast on the football and on the field and visa versa. I bet if he actually trained for the 40 he would put up a better time.

I Have seen film on him from last year can't find much from this yr..

This is the RB I've wanted all along. I love his vision and quickness. Perfect for this type of offense. I definitely like Williams as well but Scott has been my #1 guy for that last RB position all along. He's a great compliment and change of pace type to Hurd.

Spot on.

That time was his sophomore year. Hes 4.45 guy now. Our coaches will be in raleigh saturday to see him play when Havelock takes on concord, who has rocky reid of course, who just surpassed 3,000 yards last week, in the 3a state title game. Immediately following emmanuel moseley will be up when dudley plays scotland county for the 4a state title.

Where does Tennessee turn at running back? All eyes continue to be on Derrell Scott as he Vols are right up there with South Carolina. Tennessee will see Scott later in the week and it seems like it's become an even race recently.

Other than Scott, the Vols will continue to try and land Scarborough but that would have to be considered a long shot until he makes it on campus and the Vols continue to flirt with a few other backs with offers but right now it seems they may be in reset mode.

Sounds to me like he is trying decide if he wants to be the man in a small SC class or part of a big program changing UT class.

while ut might not give up on williams just yet, it seems unlikely at the moment that the vols will have much of a chance to steal him away from the tigers. Tennessee might make top247 all-purpose back derrell scott of havelock (n.c.) high school even more of a priority with williams now looking like a long shot. The vols and south carolina currently appear to be the front-runners for scott.
