I had not watched his tape before. He's got some sick cuts and fakes. What do you guys think his impact will be against UGA if any? In his video I saw some really good hesitation when the line was slow to open and some amazing cuts to whichever hole developed. Definitely looked like the type of thing this young oline could use.

No he has good speed not great speed. He's a very good back though similar to Joseph Randle of Okie State to me.

derrell is not a burner but hes fast enough. the special thing about him is the way he cuts and can move laterally. Hes elusive and i think he catches the ball well too. good player. He will be pretty nasty if he can get some space. He doesnt need alot of it.

I agree there he got walked down in a few of the highlights. Still I was especially impressed with 2 things he seems to do really well, cut and glide by a blocker or linemen, and juke a guy out of his jock in open space. Very efficient with his movements. Somebody said fluid and I would agree.

his ability to elude/juke tacklers is elite. His speed is not. That doesnt mean he is slow though.

How much speed are you looking for from a RB? Good grief folks.

If your biggest concern is your RB getting caught from BEHIND, you are in a good spot. It's been years since we've had a RB good enough to regularly have a defender behind them.
