Over the last 4 years Auburn has or will be playing for 2 MNC's. At the same time Hamilton and Hart has led us to mediocrity. Now go figure where the top talent wants to play. It is really that simple.

We were that school in the late 1990s when Dickey was in charge.

Straight cash homey. Can't trace it or prove who it can from. Only the dumb ones that accept checks and wire transfers that get caught. Amateurs. Auburn are pros at cheating because its all they have done since Before Terry Bowden days. Tubby stopped it for a while and this its why he is no longer there coach. Chiz was willing to play ball with Jacobs crew.

So if Auburn is paying players now, and Ole Miss and Bama paying them last year, were we paying players in the 90's?

What about Vandy? If I were a talented football player you would probably have to pay me to go there but the rest are traditional powers that have a tradition of national championships.

Yes we probably were in the '90's. Let's not lie to ourselves, it goes on to some extent at a ton of places.

Football under Dave Hart 10-14.
Basketball under Dave Hart, two non-tourney teams.

That is his record. We now know that he turned down Dooley's resignation after the UK fiasco two years ago and committed us to another couple of losing seasons. And some people are predicting the same for 2014.

I hope we come out on top after NSD! Adoree Jackson sure does tweet a lot about UT and I hope on signing day he picks up a UT and commits to the University of Tennessee.

Then we are playing on an even playing field with Auburn now and the reason they are getting players is because they are a successful program.

He's only made one hire, who has us a top 5 class. Other than the oline, our Dooley roster lacked talent all over the place. Give him some time to get his own players in.

You know Malzahn recruited those players for his system right? You knoe that there roster has ten times the talent and depth we do right?

1. Dooley did not attempt to resign after the UK game. You need to stop taking internet rumors to heart.
2. Hart did not hire Dooley or Martin, and had no realistic option to fire Martin after last season.

Nothing you brought up in your post is relevant to Dave Hart. Jones and Hart are the perfect combo for this University and are going to do great things here.

Yes, he did that the same years of Fulmer, Kiffin, and Dooley coaching here. I can not blame the players for wanting to go to Auburn when you look at what was going on here and when you compare what we have going on now to what they have going on.

But fans want to get on this board and say the only reason that Auburn is getting players is because they are paying them. Six or seven years ago people were saying that Arkansas was crazy to gamble on a HS coach to get a stud QB because he was using a gimmick system. Well, CGM is taking that gimmick system to the national championship game next month. Very Spurrieresce in my opinion. People thought Spurrier would not be able to throw the ball all over good SEC defenses 24 years ago either.

All I am saying is that winning is one of the most critical factors to recruits and where they want to go to school.

I hope that Butch, Hurd, and Wharton have a plan to address where we are going with Scott. We need him badly to give us any depth at RB.

Yeah you're right about winning, it's a huge factor. You're right about Auburn being a great school to go to, not just for getting paid. I just disagreed with the Hart comment. Back to D. Scott
