Excellent point. I do understand your viewpoint on Coach Graham and respect your support of him. I want to get these past 5 years behind us and and get back to the glory. I will direct my frustration to the rest of the SEC.:peace2:

No worries. The sooner we get back to winnig he better it will be for everyone around here.

I don't get the sense from what I've read that Tenn is really an option. Sounds pretty strongly like it will be SC or FSU, with Oregon having an outside shot.

If Jay Graham were still at UT though....

.....Tennessee would have absolutely no shot signing this kid.

"We talk about everything, about how I'd fit in the offense. He says he doesn't have a guy like me in his backfield," Scott said. "He said I bring versatility, being able to do more. I can line up all over the field and get the ball in my hands and go."

Scott has also talked to Tennessee's head coach, Butch Jones and has heard the same message. "He's just told me that they have something really good going on and they are moving in the right direction and that I would fit into their offense really well," Scott said.

"I really want to watch the running backs and get more of a feel for the players there and they way that their coaches coach and how they get their running backs involved in the games and how they give them the ball," Scott said.

"I want to see how passionate their fans are because everyone talks about how passionate Tennessee's fans are and I really want to see the game atmosphere as well just to see how passionate they are," Scott added.

Scott will OV to UT for UGA game. His only other scheduled OV right now is at USC. Said his top group is USC, UT, NCSU and OSU but no leader.

I think we may be in this one and have a real shot at him. It would be nice to add Scott and Malone as apaet of our offense next year

From scanning some of these recruiting threads it seems like the UGA game will be a big recruiting weekend. Is there a list up yet of who is expected?

I would love to see that list. It seems like we are going to have like 100 prospects in!

South Carolina is the team to beat right now. Some think NC State would be next after that. Tennessee and coach Gillespie have done some good work here in the last few weeks and months to really get back in it for an official.

He's not an early guy that I know of. Tennessee has a chance to make an impression, but it has to be a very big one because I've been told he's a strong Carolina lean.

Per Griddie on VQ.

"no that time is not accurate. hes 4.4 -4.45 type of kid. has a huge game with jacksonville tonight. he also has a teammate here and nc guys typically are blown away by knoxville and neyland stadium. i think we have a real shot."

Derrell Scott ‏@SilkySm00th24

Had a great visit in Knoxville this weekend #VolNation

He really seemed to enjoy his visit. If Paulk ends up grey shirting because of his acl, this could be a big time pick up.

247 says he is favoring South Carolina at this point. Does anyone think we need to play a really good game against SC to give us an edge for him?

Scott or chris james if you had to pick one?

IMO, Scott.

I know many will disagree, but Hurd is an in between the tackles back. Scott would give us a perimeter back and viable 3rd down option. I don't know, I just like Scott's game better.

Yea anybody. Im on the fence. Need to watch their highlights again
I really do like James, but depending on what happens with Paulk, they seem similar type of backs to me. I think the difference in Paulk, Hurd, and Scott is big enough for us to utilize all 3
