Do not underestimate Paulk's potential to be an impact player in the future as well.

I think picking up Scott in this class would rank them just below the '97 class of Lewis, Stephens, and Henry as far as all time Vols RB classes are concerned. May be a bit bold to say, but I believe! :)
I personally think Hurd has the potential to be the most special RB we've had in recent UT history. Even better than Jamal Lewis. Kid is a complete back and with speed. Can be a downfield threat...not just on check-down throws. Just don't see many come around with that kind of talent.

Scott would be a great compliment to him.

No

The relationships with the staff seem to be important to Scott. I don't see Florida as a factor here.

From the sounds of it Cook wasn't the first and certainly won't be the last to Lambert the gators this class.

cook and lane. Not worried but jc jackson he'll stick. Cook is the real loss eiter way. U can replace Jc and Lane with like talent but damn if DC isnt a once every 5 yr type back. Hope he enjoys Jameis for 1 yr and 500 yds rushing. Cant wait for Dan Mac, Bostwick, brantley, DFjr and Clark to meet him 5yd behing los. #butthurtfeelinghurtandtrolled

Sounds like Ermon Lane is about to a pull a Lambert on UF too, HG. And you're right Cook is the real loss. Not like UF would have done anything with a legit WR like Lane coming in.

Shurbert also said that UT is in great shape with Scott and stated he is seriously considering flipping his CB to UT. He all but said UT leads

We feel your pain, HG. Your fanbase has been Dooley'd. Hopefully your AD makes a good hire later this year, for your sake. Personally, I hope it's another bad hire. :)

That schedule of yours is pretty rough this fall too. Bama and LSU from the West plus the usual east teams and FSU. Ouch.

Not really a big deal Lambert was lost anyways. He will never qualify academically. Cook is an actual loss for UF and may influence some of their other commits or is that overplayed HG?

he'll get Lane and Phillps to follow may make Jc pick UM but the feed back after decommit was it rubbed a few commits wrong way. These are kids and many talk bout pk deals but it doesnt really happen.

If Muschamp had taken the job instead of Dooley, would we now be calling it Muschamp'd or would he have been a hit here?

Bartow said this morning that Roper and Lawing has both recruited
Scott. Lawing has history with hs and coach and he spoke highly of both and UF.

He wouldn't have been as big a flop as Dooley because we would never have been as epicly bad defensively as we were in 2012.

He was also a better recruiter and a hotter name at the time Dooley came to Knoxville.

I'm worried about UF getting involved. I'm not sure they are as far down as we all hope. I bet this is a battle to the end. Would love to land this guy!

Did Roper have Scott considering Duke at all before he left? I didn't think so.

It's too late for UF and why would Scott want to jump on a sinking ship?

Ha ha. I hear you, but kids love UF. This is the lowest they've been in my lifetime but they still have a solid class. They also have enough talent on campus to surprise folks next fall.

We'll see. I don't pretend to know one way or the other. I'm just really excited about possibly getting this guy, but am tempering my expectations.
