Any new surrounding him? I wonder why he got another CB to South Carolina today.
Man I love this predicament UF is in. They lost Cook, so they try to offer a few new guys. They hit up Scott and Jones, and it seems like they are the favorites for Jones and are an "outside shot" for Scott. Now that Michigan hit up Jones, I doubt they get either. Willie M and co really screwed up this year at RB.

UF has decently high academic standards. Omari Phillips was one example. I'm not saying UF is on par with Meeshagin, but the chance of him missing Michigan's mark and making UF's mark isn't a huge possibility IMO. Most public institutions you're in or out, but Omari Phillips was almost a case where that was proven wrong...You serious, clark? Michigan and UVA are the top academic public schools in the nation.
I had to Wikipedia the guy to see where he landed, but then I got all nostalgic. So much wasted talent. :frown:Coker had flat out track star Speed
Following the 2006 season, Coker was named to The Sporting News Freshman All SEC team and first team Freshman All American.[1] He ended the season with 696 yards on 108 carries and scored 6 total touchdowns, while leading the Vols in rushing.
Coker was a starter over Arian Foster in the 2007 season before The University of Tennessee cut Coker for violating their drug policy.
From 2008-2009, Coker was the featured back in Hampton University's spread offense. In 2009, Coker lead the MEAC in rushing yards with 1,027 yards at seasons end, and finished second in all- purpose yards with 1,537 yards. Coker was named first team All-MEAC, and was selected to play in the 8th annual East Coast Bowl and the HBCU Bowl.
In the East Coast Bowl, Coker rushed twelve times for 204 yards and three touchdowns and was named the most valuable player of the game. At the East Coast Bowl combine, Coker ran a 4.27 40 yard dash in front of NFL scouts."

I'm not too sure. I just know the hierarchy of academic acceptance. UT is better than most of the SEC fwiw.I thought the issue with Phillips was that he had taken classes at a "Diploma Mill" and Florida was hesitant to clear those classes, even after the NCAA did. He had the grades and the test score, just his transcripts were brutal
But, we took him, and there was never any problem that I know of.
was a writer for BleacherReport that made the prediction. hes just guessing IMO
EDIT: i just looked at his history. he misses a lot more than he gets it right. and the ones that he did get right were OBVIOUS picks. hes probably going with the majority guess on Scott
