My nephew is Chase Williams and he is a DT for the JV team in Hilton Head. He has known Poona for about 4 yrs and has been involved with the lifting program at Hilton Head since his seventh grade year when he transferred over from Robert Smalls in Beaufort..He says Poona is an all around athlete and a beast in the weight room.. All natural strength he says.. Anyways, Chase is saying Poona wants to play close to home because of all his family and friends in South Carolina.. He does love the Vols, but it is just to far away from home is what is being said plus everyone around him are pushing for him to go to USC. That is all I know as of now.. Don't normally have insider info, but I share when I do

Exactly, even if this Chase is real, then Poona could just be telling him what he wants to hear since he is a local fan.

The difference in distance isn't big enough to be a game changer.. U don't just settle for #2 or 3 because ur family and friends have to drive a little farther to see home games. I mean, about half his games will be away games anyways..

Sounds like a JV player acting like he's closer to the big star player than he actually is.. Prob telling his uncle what he wants to hear.

I don't even think he's a player for that team.. Maybe he means another school in the area or something.

He doesn't seem like the type that would be easily influenced by ppl around him to go somewhere he doesn't want to.

Earlier, they were actually talking about how our on-site pharmacy would make it easier for our players to get 'roids and stating that there's no way we could pay for that facility.

Poona was probl sayin ut is too far away just so they won't think he's gonna come here. That's what I would do to keep people from nagging me. Tell em what they wanna hear. That also works on the wife too

Exactly! These kids that are being pressured to stay home will wait till the very last moment to break the news that they are leaving.

They would only tell the people they really trust what they are really thinking.

Poona would just be an amazing pick up by this staff. I hope Coach Jones and Strip stay on him over the next couple months and he shuts it down soon. Would be a fantastic get.
