ford said he doesn’t have any other visits “planned right now,” but he’s hoping to make it back to tennessee “in the summer” for one of the vols’ camps.

For now, he said he’s not sure when he might be ready to make a decision on where he wants to play in college.

“i might wait a little bit, maybe,” ford said. “i don’t know. I’m still deciding.”

Any wait to commit would only be to see Ohio states campus and facilities in early June. He has been to sc several times. UT's battle is with OSU, not SC.

This is great news IMO. If distance is a factor at all at least TN is within driving distance.

C2P do you think Poona prefers the SEC over the BIG or do you think it matters to him?

Urban working the SEC areas hard for recruits. Speaks volumes of where the talent is located. Someone needs to build a wall around Ohio to keep urbie and staff in.

It doesn't matter to him, he has said all along its about what is best fit for him (i will add OSU has put prob as many dL in nfl as sec schools so they are different) which will make one school happy and many upset. When he leaves the state for school, and he will most likely ..those fans will have hatred towards the kid instead of the staffs for letting a talented kid leave. Clemson hasnt offered and UT (and other schools) have far out recruited SC on the kid.

Hopefully he wants to play in the big boy league and tells urbie thanks, but no thanks.

Starting to get nervous about Ohio St. Hope he doesn't fall victim to the Urban magic dust.

If your recruiting pitch is "we are close to your home and we have clowney".....you need to add to it. Besides those two things I have not seen or heard one poster on any board that's an sc fan say anything differently than those two things.

I imagine our coaches are telling recruits more than that. UT does have a ton to sell, though. No doubt about that.

I wish recruits/parents could see Urban for the lying hypocrite that he really is. The best man at my wedding is a Florida alum, bless his heart, and he and his buddies wouldn't p!ss on Urban if he were on fire.

Lol.. And clowney is gone after this year.. We might as well say we have Shawn Ellis and Reggie white lol
