If people ask me a question, I'm going to respond as I am doing. If you want it dropped give a PSA to stop asking me questions.

I'm not just here ranting about it, I'm giving civilized answers (to most) that are asking me questions or are having a discussion with me. I thought that's what this site is for?

I think it's something assumed. I don't remember if close said it personally, but Hubbs and the VQ guys said that was the case.

Can anybody just state his status committed or Not....and if we are still in the hunt for him.

Damn. all this cat fighting about legit source or not ..... lengthy and distracting... a little of focus....acting like who in here has the biggest set of balls....

so what is the deal with this recruit....

Fwiw,

Yes, it was a UT/UL battle until UT just recently backed away. Although it was said UT is "full", I don't believe it. You can't be full with 0 DL commits (in case I'm wrong here) where that us a position needed badly for UT. I think the UT staff got scared by his height and think they might be able to get a couple others guys. but uf they dont fet those guys it will hurt them. poona wont chanfe his mind, too loyal of a kid. Height issue is ironic because they knew his height when they offered him and they did so in person, sane day they measured him on unofficial. I don't care if people on here don't believe me. I said UL was a contender before anyone else. I also assured there was no way that he was taking 4 trips to SC over the summer and pronounced months ago that SC wasnt in the running which was argued by many, specifically SC fans. I do love recruiting sites though. Until August one, nobody predicted Poona to Louisville. Now 247 claims to habe gotten crystal ball right. Again, not here for arguing. Those who know, know I'm legit. Eric, stay in touch through email. Sane for you Ron.

Is this all about board credibility..Let's move on....He signed with Louisville...Let it go...Makes no difference now....why try to justify it....Let whoever believe what they want to believe....the doubters you will never change their minds....It is like sharks and blood in the water here sometimes......

C2P, it is really weird that the height thing came up so late and we are all confused about it.

What I believe happend was we probably had some other guys pop up on our board that we decided we liked better and we are feeling good about landing them, thus the "full "comment.

I think VQ mods are using the height thing to subtly say TN decided they like other guys better that are "silenty" committed or heavy leans without giving too much of the coaches info away.

Everything that comes from that site is said in code and you have to follow everything they say about a player to really understand what they are getting at.

Thanks again for all the conversations, maybe we will see each other across the state or at the golf tournament next year.

I will add, I know everyone on here wanted him. 2-3 years from now, he will be the biggest look back and regret backing off of recruit and recruiting mistake this staff will have ever made at any school. Just My opinion. I also don't get paid millions to make that decision :)

I hope they land the guys they passed him for. When your at a bar and the really pretty girl wants to dance, you tell her no because you want to talk to the knockout across the bar who is a ten. When the ten says no, you go back to the pretty girl she now tells you no, you end up dancing with the ugly fat chick your now stuck with.

C2P, I also want to say I hope no one in the HHI area holds this against the TN staff...they are just trying to trust their evals and do their best to get us back to the top. I am sure it pained them to make this decision and the TN fanbase loves Poona.

I was thinking on this.... Butch is friends with Poona's coach. He use to coach a school in Ohio that butch recruited well.
