Who says it was something stupid? A lot of good kids do dumb things. I actually believe the guy with the fair story. Does it mean VW is a bad kid? Heck no. Kids just act up sometimes. Happens weekly from my experiences.
I heard he bought up all the funnel cakes and wouldn't share. Not team like behavior if you ask me.
Have you seen Vic play in person Ron? I'm not going to support either side in this argument because I don't know Vic personally, but I saw several games this year and at times his attitude is something I worry about. If it can be confined to the field (without causing team harm) and not carryover to off-field stuff then I'm fine with it. But with multiple people citing incidences it should at least be taken with a grain of salt.
No, I've never seen him in person. I'll let Butch worry about his attitude. All I know is the kid's a baller and has been the best recruiter for this class. That means more to me than some hearsay attitude problem at a county fair.
Some of the best players to ever wear the Power T had serious attitude problems. Hopefully we can get a few each class. Again, that's up to the coaches to deal with. JMO
Lion, What is it that's so bad about CPA (if you're willing to say)? My knowledge of Nashville private schools is pretty much limited to Father Ryan where my wife attended and somewhat Ensworth and their recruiting practices.
Just as you mentioned, also the sense of entitlement. And in the case of Wharton, we asked him to come to CPA. He had never even heard of CPA. Don't get me wrong, there are some great things about CPA, I just believe that if we are going to recruit then let's get in the league with Ensworth and stop pretending.

Wharton is very passionate and confident. He is high strong, and can not be read or categorized. He is very very aggressive, especially when he sees injustice or is treated unfairly. He's like a Thurough bred race horse or a pit bull. Very very loyal but handle with caution. He will die for you, but only if he trust you. Peers love to follow him, kids are always with him and want to be around him. He's the other teams nightmare with a deep chip on his shoulder always always ready to prove all doubters. Tom Luginbill
Ultimately thus is the problem CPA had with Wharton.
