'14 TN DB Todd Kelly Jr. (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Going to feel good whoopin Bama for this one. Especially with their need at safety now with Eddie Williams being an idiot. Looking kinda thin back there for the future now.

Doesn't mean he can't recruit against us while he is on campus. He is a slimy douche, so it wouldn't surprise me.

No way did Trooper bring his son to Knoxville on a Saturday to recruit against us. That's one of the most asinine things I've heard on this board in a while. We're seriously recruiting his son to play RB.

FYP, agree with everything but we are recruiting him as DB not RB

Testosterone is pretty high at that time. Proper nutrition, supplementation, smart workouts, and good genes... You know his dad knows what's up and makes sure he has access to all he needs.

good points nick j, especially about his dad, but its more the psyche of a high school teenager that seems impossible to have that kind of build. it takes some serious diet and training discipline to get that jacked. kid probably works out with insanely high weight.

Ever thought about it being just in his genes. Boy was already jacked last year. And had nice size on him as a freshman. All he has to do is hit the weights hard. He probably has some nice protein shakes on top of those genes too though. :) Which is helping since I believe his work ethic is off the charts. He's a very serious kid. Wish he could re-classify for the 2013 class.

oh genes are a huge factor, but they dont sculpt a physique like that. it's no big deal, just mentioning it. i know nothing about football training, but i would guess a college trainer will lean him down some? muscle mass is pretty heavy.

As long as he carries it well you just limit him some in the weight room. Like with Trent Richardson at Bama, there's not a lot an S&C program will do as far as raw strength and power. You'll see more improvement from him maturing than the actual program. Now people are seeing why I say he wouldn't be eaten at the SEC level right now. He's 2-3 years ahead of 95-99% of the players his age physically.
