I live about a 5 min walk from Vandys stadium. If their ticket prices weren't so laughably expensive, I would go to some of their games (provided they don't conflict with UT games).

Sometimes it's just nice to watch SEC football in your own backyard. And yes, I would root like hell for whoever was playing Vandy that week.

I have no clue where Barnett will end up but I have a feeling that he will commit to TN. With the problems at Vandy and the probability that they will lose their next three games (and possibly their next five) can't see Derek turning down the Vols to go there.

Since before the season I have thought this was a 50/50 battle and that how the 2 seasons went would be a big factor in this outcome. Yesterday was huge for that on both sides. Would have rather had him in ktown but seeing their huge failure was a close second.

He was at Vanderbilt's game this past weekend. I think Tennessee has some good momentum here and with the way things are at Vanderbilt right now with so many questions surrounding that program, I think Tennessee's trending in a very good direction with Barnett right now.

I dislike Snakehead as much as the next guy.... but he was 1-1 vs Dools, not 1-2. This is Franklins 3rd yr.

BTW, I agree that Franklin won't be hired at USC.... especially after getting 51 hung on him by Mizzou at home last week.... stock dropping quickly.

He started a thread titled "It's a great day to be a Tennessee Vol!" and only wrote "that is all!" inside. He posts mostly on Barnett's recruitment so by him doing that he's telling us good news on Barnett is coming.

He could just be expressing his joy of being a Vol fan...but then, I suppose he'd have to post a thread like this every day...bc it's ALWAYS great to be a Vol
