Eh, I'm a student so I don't really consider talking to guys a few years younger than me creepy. Now if I was 50 and approaching these kids it'd be a little creepy.

They definitely seemed to look up to Vic, he seemed to be the unofficial leader of the group.

Weatherd and Creamer are comparable in height size and are both very well put together.

I also talked to Dobbs and Marquez North outside a bar and Dobbs definitely has a great head on his shoulder. Marquez looks like Megatron and passes the eye test easily. Physically already looks like an NFL player.

Needless to say there were plenty of reasons to be happy for the future after meeting these guys. Butch Jones.

Derek loved the visit this weekend and so did his mom. His coach expects him to announce soon as in this week or next at the latest. That's the update I received this morning.

Also, and this is pure speculation on my part, I'm thinking that it is very possible that Derek has already let the staff know of his commitment as others have stated because when I asked why Derek would delay his announcement if he already knew I was told that Butch wanted to space some of the announcements out and didn't want more than one per day.

Players frequent the bars more during the summer vs the school year. It is a lot safer for players to go in the summer because there are less people. By no means are they out at a rate to be concerned about.

1 or 2. There will always be freshman and sophomore FB players going to bars underage at every school.

More info pointed in that direction than not I think. Plus I think POA or somebody made a post showing how all the commitments have been spaced out with only about two weeks in between most. Since we just overloaded this passed week I don't think it is beyond thinkable that CBJ asked young Derek to wait a few days or a week to make it public. It has been all about momentum and a steady stream of it throughout this recruiting cycle so far. #lovinit

I was told Butch was with Derek's mom, sisters, and siblings more than any other recruits parents.
