"It was good. I have a good relationship with all the coaches, but I got to hang out with the guys in my grade and in my class and all the people that want to strive for greatness and that's what I like. I enjoyed it," Barnett said.

"Sunday was just for the parents, but other than that, on Friday and Saturday, it was just kind of hanging out and getting to know everybody," Barnett said. "They had some people from instate that were there like Gabe Angel, I know he was there, and some guys from Brentwood and of course I know Rashaan Gaulden and we were just playing games and getting to know each other."

"She said she liked it. She talked to the academic counselor and wanted to ask a few more questions she didn't get to ask last time," Barnett said. "She's still learning about the school but at the end of the day she said she liked it."

"I'll probably visit end up visiting Ole Miss here in a few weeks and that will be my last visit before the season starts and then I may have a decision in August but right now I'm not ready to make that decision," Barnett said. "When I make my decision I'm going to be 100 percent and I'm going to be committed to that school. I've been talking to my mom about it and she said we'll wait until August and if I'm ready to make it I will and if not I'm just going to wait until I'm ready to do it."

What was ouch about that article? It sounded very positive to me. Seems like he enjoyed himself and his mother got to talk to the coaches about some questions she had regarding academics. I will be very surprised and extremely disappointed if we don't end up getting this guy. He's one of the most important recruits in the class IMO.

I have called out 2 people. I later apologized for the way I did with one. The last line of my post here was an attempt at humor. You need to revisit my post history if you think I'm pessimistic or repeatedly calling people out. I'm very excited for the upcoming season. This board is full of disagreements and I don't feel like I have crossed any lines. If BurninOrange thinks I have I'll gladly apologize.

Sounds like the booth and McDowell articles before they went public and were silent. I will be more comfortable when he is public just because I don't trust Franklin and we don't have the best luck at BA. However Gaulden makes me feel a lot better and I think there is just too much smoke and ability to start as a freshman

Well I too apologize for my post then because I missed where you apologized for calling them out in the past. And your humor was lost on me in your post, I took it completely the opposite way. I probably did jump to conclusions in the way you post on a regular basis I just remember you calling people out when they missed on a prediction or had bad info and didn't see your apologies afterwards. I should have just kept out of it anyways instead of taking a cheap shot. My bad :hi:

Hope he picks the Vols. Everyone has their own way of looking at things. I feel if a recruit is taking visits, he's not a silent or a lock by any means. We have seen this play out against us too many times. Hope he is not easily white-girled at Ole Miss.

He got bad info. Not much you can do about that. I'd rather people say what they're hearing even if it ends up not going down the way say. Makes VN it much more exciting IMO. Just don't take anything you read on here as gospel and you won't be disappointed.
