I have always seen us as a tag along school for Black. Not under the impression that we have a realistic shot at him, even though he keeps mentioning us. Would obviously love to have him though.

It'd be silly if we pulled him last second, does he have a leader right now? I thought Florida was his leader but clearly not.

Black is a different kinda guy, I'm not sure he has a leader. To be honest I wouldn't be completely shocked to randomly wake up on day and see he committed lol.

I feel like he would have a strong connection with CCM and Black has mentioned that religion is key to his recruitment. Is Martin religious?

He's a 3/4 right? Maybe Florida is counting on somebody else in the 14 class to commit. They were the favorites not to long ago right?

We're also recruiting Abdul Malik Abu, who is a similar player to Black (slightly undersized, athletic PFs). But I would take these "who is recruiting you the hardest?" lists with a grain of salt... Just a few weeks ago, Black said that Illinois, Indiana, Florida, and UConn were recruiting him the hardest. We're still heavily involved with Black.

Ok gotcha. That's why I was confused I remember seeing that. Until the 5 officials come out. You never know.

That article is a month old, the quote posted is from yesterday from Leron Black himself, saying Tennessee was one of the ones recruiting him the hardest.

Are we recruiting like we did Lyle? Probably not. But I think the staff has definitely been in contact with him frequently since he decommited from Baylor...if you remember Tennessee was immediately mentioned as a school that reached out to him after his decommitment.
