Tux, you're talking **** about a 17 year old on the internet. Think about that for a second.

I could say that you ands the others worshipping this 17 year old kid are too.

Take him out of his school in Knoxville, TN and put him in the state of West Virginia and nobody would be talking about him.

All I said was that this kid's skill set is already represented on the team by Devin Young, and some people, including yourself freak out.

You might want to check your motives. I think that I know them, but the others should do so to remind themselves that they need to step back and get some perspective.

College football is full of players 3-5 inches taller than him, 30-40 pounds heavier, just as fast and makes the same plays. I'll take the bigger and stronger versions any day.

Who r all these superman recruits u speak of?

If DY was a Freshman your using him as a reason to pass on a player with the same skillset would make sense.

At slot receiver, I don't care about height as much. I want the kid to camp at Tennessee. He can earn his offer.

If the coaches offer then we will know if they think he has the proper skill set. If they don't then there is no doubt this kid will get to go to college somewhere for free and play football. Can we all agree on that fact? The kid does have skills. Tux? Is that acceptable? Not try to walk on eggshells but if this kid does get an offer to UT I certainly don't want to be the one eating a big healthy plate of Crow.

I just do not see a special set of offensive skills from such a small kid. As a corner maybe, but he is still on the small side.

The smaller schools such as Troy, Akron, MTSU, Western KY are filled with kids of his size, stature, and abilities.

Like I mentioned...how many of you would be clamoring for this kid, if he was not from Knoxville, TN, but was from MaryYour Sister, West Virginia?

I would wager ZERO.

Hey, you have the right to your opinion. However, to keep in mind, have you taken the time to read the thread or do any research?

He's run a 4.41 laser 40. He made the ATL SPARQ team at the ATL combine/camp. He was named co-MVP at the same camp. A very reliable poster in OV has said that he's gaining more and more interest and he wouldn't be surprised to see bigger schools offer. It is still very early in the process for the 2014 class. Last, Jay, another reliable poster, and who can clearly analyze player's skills, approves of an offer.

He is clearly explosive as an athlete. He's receiving a lot of interest from Vandy. I think there is lot of evidence out there that he could be worth more schollies. JMO.

So when did our goal become competing with Vandy?

Smh at this thread. Seems like someone woke up butthurt about something unrelated and wants to vent here.
Yes, like 10 guys who need to wear a kotex feminine napkin because someone does not agree on a kid from their high school of their geographical proximity to the kid.

The young man has some new offers and will have an opportunity to play somewhere and earn his degree. Best of luck to him.

Is that not what I have been saying? If he gets a UT offer then great! If not he will go to school for free and get to play football somewhere. Let's all just let this one play out without being harsh or jumping to any conclusions.
