Have you seen our wr class

Lee and the juco whose offer is only commitable if he qualifies? Creamer and Vic will probably play other positions. Malone, Booth are just speculation at this point. There's another thread claiming that LSU turned away an instate 4 star who will probably end up at Bama.

Lol. His name is Jonathan Johnson. His offer is pending graduation/ qualification. It even says it in the thread title for those who are actually new around here.

He is in the '13 class. As in the class in which we signed Carr, Reeves-Maybin, etc.

The next class is the '14 class with the guys you mentioned such as Wharton, Creamer, etc. We have a JUCO WR for this class too, but you're thinking of a guy who is trying to get in right now and play this year.

I thought he was trying to graduate to join the 14 class. My mistake. I'll accept the abuse now. But I still maintain my original point that our 14 wr class is probably not comparable to LSU's.

LSU recently lost the best WR in the country. It's not like without him there WR class is light years ahead of ours IMO

That is absolutely wrong as is the thread title.Johnson is a freshman who was qualified coming out of high school and does not have to graduate to transfer .....he can transfer anywhere in USA right now if he has not screwed the pooch in Junior Collge because he was academically qualified coming out of high school.Fact is Johnson will probably enroll at Tnnessee next week and will have 3 years to play three years.

What WR wouldn't want to go to UVA over UT?

Just letting you know what conventional wisdom seems to be saying around here right now. A long way to go between now and when it really matters but no highly rated WR knows exactly what he's going to get from the current staff in Knoxville right now (see Josh Malone). An impressive season could easily change some opinions, problem is, so could a not so impressive one.

Also, UVA has created a bit more buzz in this area than in years past so far this cycle. Getting a commitment from one of the top 5 players in the country made a decent sized splash.

“I know that*Michigan State, Vanderbilt and North Carolina State will make the cut,” said Kamara. “Wisconsin is one of the top schools. Tennessee,*Florida, LSU and*South Carolina*are also all interested.”

“It’s whatever schools need me the most,” said Kamara. “I feel a lot of these schools need me, but now it’s a matter of who wants me. I want to play early or get on the field as a freshman. Whatever school I visit that feels like the right school for me where I can be playing and living.”

I would really like to have this kid help us out. I hope we can get him, Booth, and Malone. I would like to see us take them and they could compete for starting job easily. I like all threes' playing style.

That sure does sound strange… The schools certain to make his cut are an ACC school, a big 10 school, and a lower tier program in the SEC?
