'14 VA WR Jamil Kamara

I doubt we are going to get any where with him. I think he is down to a final three.

I agree. Kid is very highly thought of obviously by his ranking. If I were slow played and then a school tried to get back in late I would have to tell them straight up no thanks. The kid has taken all of his OV's. IMO this one is not happening.

I don't see this as being a reflection of where we are with Malone.

I think it has more to do with booth. There is serious smoke suggesting he isn't an EE anymore and IMO that might be the staffs doings

I think they have recruited Booth much to long and at both UT and cinci to drop him because he isn't an EE. We are going to have about 43 WRs next year. I don't think they all have to be on campus early to be a take. JMO

IMO, and it might be a stretch, the staff has put the breaks on him being an EE. If that's true then dropping him seems to be a possibility. I hope not

Another possibility IMO.

Booth was said to be injured recently. Maybe the staff backed off him being an EE as he was hurt and is giving the EE spot to someone who can come in and be 100% from day 1 on campus. That would not mean Booth is no longer a take, just not the best EE option. I also think with where we are, EE's should be OL/DL/LB as that is where the most help is needed to contribute day 1.

Somebody posted yesterday that there is a limit to how many EEs can be taken. That could be it as well.

Is there a limit of EEs?

I have no clue how the EE numbers are counted. I does look like there is a set number that can be brought in and the staff is trying to put the kids who will need to play early in those spots.

5 will back count to 2013 class. You are allowed 13 EE's per class. So I think we could sign up to 18 EE's!

This was in another thread. It wasn't refuted but I have no idea if its accurate

No limit on how many EE we can have just a limit on how many WE can back count.

ZA had shown next to nothing when it comes to developing his position group as a whole this year. Next year is put out or get out for him IMO

Marquez North was a QB in high school and has improved dramatically over the course of the season. Pig Howard looks to be a competent WR for the first time. J. Johnson has been better than expected. Other than that, we have nothing to work with other than FR WRs and a few kids that have no business playing WR in the SEC.

I think it has more to do with the staffs view of the current WRs on the roster and their limited progress this year. Left a lot of tough but catchable passes on the field. The staff was expecting much more improvement. Other than North, there's not any other WR that scares opposing DBs.

ATP, We need BOTH Malone AND Kamara here.

North is the only one I have seen have any measurable progress. Pig has digressed here at the end of the season IMO along with most of the rest

Any chance you've considered that going from working with their first string QB who they've practiced with all year to their fourth string QB has anything to do with that regression?

Come on man think about it.

Gotta remember this is the first full season with significant playing time for a season. I wouldn't be surprised if they are a bit tired, its long and grueling seasons in SEC.
