'15 AL DE Prince Tega

Wonder if Prince likes Red Bull more than Peanut Butter?

If so, we are in trouble.

:cray:

LSU guy posted a quote from the HC that said he walked in the door and Coach O was already on the ground practicing DL moves with Tega, and they were both really impressed by this.

If that's the choice, sure. Somehow I think they get Lovingood without him counting against the current numbers though. :good!:

I agree he would be a perfect preferred walk-on candidate. I'm of the persuasion that good special teams play is very important, but it's positions that can be taught and not worth the scholly, at least not when you're in the toughest conference and trying to revive a program. Some of our best years came when we had one of the best walk-on rosters in the country. We need to get back to that.

Where is Prattville Vol? This is 10-15 minutes from Prattville. I wonder if he has seen this kid play and what is his assessment? Edgewood Academy is very small school and I would worry about the competition. Would have loved to see what he could do at Wetumpka, Stanhope Elmore, or Prattville. Those are the football schools within 20 minutes of Edgewood.

He played in the AISA which is a bunch of small private christian schools...so the competition level is really low but Edgewood could probably compete with 2A schools in the AHSAA...but there is no denying his talent level although raw

If this kid is legitimately 6'8" and 250 lbs then he is shockingly athletic for his size. Get him on campus and he's a DE, TE, or *gasp* a LT.

Evidently. Call me crazy but I'm one of the few who think bacon is over rated. No I'm not Muslim

Does anything make you happy, Cat?

I mean, come on. I've been a vegetarian for half a decade, and I still have bacon dreams. Even the thought of a plateful of nasty Shoney's bacon makes my mouth water.

I agree cat. I'm not that huge of a fan either. Except for my wife's Christmas morning candied bacon. Man oh man. Heavenly stuff. I think it's got brown sugar and pecans on it. Devine.

Per Hubbs

Defensive coordinator John Jancek and Steve Stripling were in Alabama to meet with defensive line prospect Prince Tega Wanogho Jr.. His recruitment has certainly become very interesting recently as his guidance counselor found out he had enough credits to graduate a full year early just this week.

The Tennessee duo weren't the only coaches as staff members from Alabama, LSU and South Carolina were also in and more are expected Friday.

Tennessee is still likely to get a visit, but there's a chance Wanogho Jr. holds off until after signing day to make a decision and if that happens it's not clear just how much room Tennessee will have left.
