Players all over Thev place with new positions could be a struggle city

Maybe. I just said there is potential there. Most of those guys were highly rated and underdeveloped. If they can develop quickly they have potential to be a solid line. Will it happen? I have no idea. That's why I didn't make a statement about if they would be good or not.

Simply cannot look backwards to see what the O-line may be like this next season. Everything's changed - S&C, system, scheme, techniques, coaches. What failed before is no more. The players could have played for other major schools - they would have been developed differently. From all reports they are working hard to get better. The coaches will get the Butch stink off.

Getting Kennedy is just another example of CJP believing they can win sooner rather than later. Hope it happens.

Can’t stress enough how big of a deal a legitimate strength and conditioning program is for such positions as O Line.

Kennedy would be a huge deal. He immediately slides in as your Center and it gives you a little room to move guys around to get your best 5 on the field.

He immediately makes me feel better about the interior of our line, especially with Hall and Smith back at 100%.

I’d have to go back and look, but it might be that Richmond was the only starting OL in the OW game that starts game 1.

I agree. I still have to see it to believe it with Hall since he's basically been injured 4 out of the last 5 years, but I agree adding Kennedy and getting Smith back just in itself improves the OLine immensely.

Agreed. I think they will both be back but I'm not confident Hall can recover his form after the injuries he's had. I hope so, but I'm not really counting on it.

Not to be a Debbie downer but is there any smoke to this speculation, outside of that Simonton “one to watch” comment?
