Na TCU has just been pushing a lot lately for a visit. His official here is next week before the dead period. Should be fine. Just curious if he'd sneak in a visit. Probably won't though

Because our QB situation isn't exactly pretty. Taking 3 in one class isn't ideal, but there's a good possibility we only have one scholarship QB returning next year. Jmo...

Hendrix and Scott may transfer. Orta graduated early and is leaving. Same with Bowles. I'm sure there will be more.

I'm pretty sure that JJ and QD are fine with this. Jones has probably told them that they will naturally have a advantage because of the fact that they're EE. But he told them with Peterman most likely transferring "Guys, see what I have here? Peterman is probably gone, and even if he stays, he's not productive. I have Dobbs, and then you two, and if one of you goes down, then I have two QBs, and I can't have that. So, I'm going to bring you two in in January, and ya'll will get some valuable time, and you'll be ahead. But I do plan on bringing in another QB if the right one comes along."

I just don't think he's being backhanded here. Nothing to worry about with QD and JJ.

Agreed. Butch loves competition and this will cause for some of it to occur. Also with Peterman leaving this is needed

I bet we'd try to take all three QBs and if Jones ended up being the better of them, Jennings would move to another position. If someone were to look elsewhere, my guess would be Dormady since he doesn't "fit" our system. Spots are very valuable at this point.

Where are you getting the info? Are you a member of some recruiting sites? I watch the recruiting boards here and espn recruiting news, but they rarely update crap. Their hot boards are from October,lol.

How does a QB who runs a 4.7 and has a cannon for an arm not "fit" this system?

With the tackles coming in he won't have to move inside...right now it's a simple matter of Barnett being a force of nature player and if Maggitt returns, he's below him. If he transfers, he has to sit a year, so whatever decision will require patience...if he bolts look for him to show up in Columbia,Missouri. :ermm:

Could Hendrix not replace Maggit when he leaves? We need multiple DEs. These Freshmen need to realize they are freshmen and not all come in and play like Barnett.
