Couple QB notes....

"Sheriron Jones won' be here for the Saturday 'Gruden Camp,' but he will be here Thursday and Friday before heading to Florida for the rest of the weekend. Right now, the Gators are still thought of as the team to beat but Tennessee will have avery good opportunity to try and change that."

"I leave here on Thursday to go to Tennessee and I'll be there until Friday night and then going to Gainesville on Saturday and flying out Sunday," Jones said. "I'm just looking forward to getting around the players," Jones said, "and the coaches and seeing what the environments are like and just being around them and seeing if I like it and seeing what everybody does and if they are cool, too."

"It was the coaches," Jones explained. "Just from talking to them and hearing them they really love their school. And even though coaches come and go it's all about building that relationship because you never know who could be an NFL coach in five years. Like Chip Kelly, he has five guys that he recruited and he picked them up. So, I want to build relationships like that."

"They said they would basically be missing to classes of quarterbacks and that would be a good deal for me," Jones explained. "But, it's got to be about me being comfortable more than anything else. I can go out there and show guys up, and that's what I do, I go out there and compete because nothing is given to you for free anyways. Just being comfortable is what I'm basing my decision off of."

"I just want to get this over with and then go from there," Jones said. "The next thing after this, the only thing I know, is going to The Opening. I don't have anything scheduled, but I might turn up at Maryland or Nebraska, who knows. The only place I'm visiting are the places that have offered me. And like I said, if I fall in love then I will commit."

I think his receiever's make a lot of plays for him and might make him look a little better.. A lot of those throws should've been picked.. His scrambling ability isn't anything anymore special than the other guys we r in on, and is prob lower half of the ones we r recruiting.. He doesn't make many progressions and looks like he knows where the ball is going before it's snapped and try's to wedge it in somewhere because he has faith in his WR to bail him out.

He doesn't look bad, but he's not one of my top choices right now. It's all jmo though.

Fair enough.

I think he's a guy that does everything pretty well, but doesn't have a stand out quality.

He's just an all around solid player, IMO.
