I mean the guys right. If your back lifts, you raise your legs, etc the rep wouldn't count in a setting where it counts like weight lifting competitions or the Combine.
It's impressive as hell but it's still poor form if he was lifting his back.
In the grand scheme of things, does it matter? Does it discount what the young man did? There is always one or two in every bunch.

It depends on the rules of that specific lifting event.. I've seen some events where lifting ur back or whatever was ok.. Just like using a shirt.. Some approve and some don't. I'm not sure how the combie is..
But as far as lifting ur hips, I really don't see the problem.
