You worried about DJ Jones having a sis at USCjr and playing w Sawyer? Seems y'all two are the favs with us close behind.

What's up man. You're right about USCe, but Clemson has inherent advantages as well. He pretty much grew up in Clemson, has friends that would play alongside him on the Dline here as well, and really likes the our depth chart (we graduate 6 Dlinemen, and it's something he brings up in almost every interview).

I really don't "expect" him to sign with Clemson. There's just no clear cut favorite and the feeling here is that Clemson has as good a shot as anyone and will be in it through the end.

Any idea why clemson did not help place him at a Juco? Seems like if they were always there for him and he always liked them, they would have helped set the kid up so he would choose them when his grades were in order. Just curious.

I've been agreeing with you a lot lately, LV. I agree with these thoughts as well. I said it a few posts up that in the end, I really feel that he will come back to the staff that was with him through thick and thin, and continued to recruit him, no matter what his grades were. That same staff helped place him in a JUCO. Vol on JUCO NSD.

To be honest, I'm not sure the backstory there. I'm sure Tenn is selling this, and it's a feather in their cap.

At the end of the day, who knows what will be most important to him and what he'll base his decision on? It's different with every recruit. Just the other year a kid picked Auburn over us b/c they had a Chick-fila on campus, lol!

Chick-fila is nothing to joke about! That place is the most important part of making any decisions.

They sure seem to think he is a "cock lock". But they also think they are God's gift to CFB so who the hell knows.

They have some pretty reputable CB's too.

Hope he plays in orange either way and not Garnet.

Butch MF Jones would have had a Chik-fil-a built before the kid left campus.

Spurrier would have constructed a Chik-fil-a that sold beer.

lol, Clemson has one but I guess we left it off of our facility's tour. It was probably the main attraction at Auburn's, quite possibly even the place where he met the bagman.

"Here's your number 5 combo with extra Chik-Fil-A sauce and a side of $10,000. Enjoy your day!"

we have two Chik-Fil-A's on campus....
