"My dad was actually committed here back in his day when he played football but then switched and went to USC," Chandler Cox explained. "Bill Bates was there and Bill Bates was his host on his official visit and he got to talk to him, which was really cool. He really liked that. I got to talk to Dillon Bates, too. That was cool."
"Everything," Cox answered when asked what stood out. "The campus, the people are really nice, the facilities are just incredible. I knew I was going to love it before I came, but everything was really nice. The stadium was just right there on the water and I love the coaching staff, too."
"It was awesome. We were with them all (Sunday) and we watched film with them and they showed me how I would be used at Tennessee which was really helpful because at first I wasn't sure, watching their offense, what they would use me as," Cox explained. "But, when they came over from Cincinnati they didn't have a guy that could be an offensive weapon that moves around on offense and does different things and they don't have someone like that and they need that."
"Right now I really love Tennessee and everything," Cox said. "I really like coach Butch Jones and when he was at Cincinnati my brother was committed there. My dad had met him and talked to him before but this was the first time I met him." "They're definitely one of my favorites. I don't really have any top schools, yet. But, Tennessee is definitely one of my favorites," Cox offered.
